smbadmin problem

System:
debian-edu-sarge
habe gestern mit
smbpasswd -w Passwort
meinen smbadmin "abgeschosssen"
mehrere Versuche, diesen wieder zum arbeiten zu bewegen, scheiterten.
Als Beispiel : (aus einer Anleitung internet)
ldappasswd -x -ZZ -D cn=admin,ou=people,dc=skole,dc=skolelinux,dc=no
\ -W cn=smbadmin,ou=people,dc=skole,dc=skolelinux,dc=no
smbpasswd -w [generated password]
Bin die ganze Zeit am googeln, habe aber momentan das Problem, das meine
xp clients auf keine Freigaben mehr zugreifen können.Da mittlerweile der
Server mein Hauptserver ist, muss ich schnell etwas machen.
Wenn ich in der smb.conf den Eintrag:
ldap admin dn=
cn=admin
anstatt
cn=smbadmin
setze, bekomme ich zumindest meine Freigaben.
Dies ist natürlich momentan nur eine Notlösung.
Ich habe mittlerweile viel gelesen, dieses Problem ist bekannt.
Allerdings tue ich mich etwas schwer mit der Lösung.
Hat da jemand ein "workaround" ?
Folgendes habe ich gefunden :
"this bug does not apply to debian but only to debian-edu.
debian-edu released a security update for samba, upgrading it
from version 3.06 to 3.010. In version 3.07 samba schema changes
were included. Changing the samba schemas without restarting
slapd caused slapd to not return expected values when queried
about certain samba releated entries or attributes. Writing these
samba attributes could corrupt the database. All this is
unrelated to this package.
One such faulty read or write could occure when this package
tried to update or create user entries with samba attributes. in
that case the above error message could be displayed. The admin
that acted uppon it then currupted the ldap backend further."
ich weiß, das dieses Problem schon immer mal wieder gepostet wurde, da
ich aber auf sarge teste, denke ich, das eventuell jemand dieses Problem
schon gefixt hat.
Der Auslöser zu diesem Problem war definitiv : smbpasswd -w xxxxx
Danach geht nichts mehr sauber.
LDAP läuft zwar, aber alles , wofür der smbadmin steht, geht nicht.
Jemand mit Tipp?
