Re: [Debian-NYC] squeeze release party

NYCR has a kitchen area with microwave, sink, and toaster over.  It also has a small projector and screen, and stereo.

I'd have to convince Eyebeam they want to host it, but that wouldn't be hard if that's the preferred location.

That's really great news Hans.

This evening jorelli was planning to stop by General Assembly, which was suggested as a potential location. It would be nice to at least pick a location by this evening or tomorrow.

The main stated issues with General Assembly are the lack of any kitchen facilities, incl. even a microwave (no nachos!) and also lack of a projector. (I jokingly said I would bring my eyeclops, but of course that's just a toy.)

I don't recall NYCR having a projector or any kitchen area and don't know about eyebeam. Do you know this? We'd should also probably get clear about what time/s we are talking about / how many hours.

Thanks for the great suggestions, looks like things may come together after all, but time is still looming!

best,

I think we can do it at NYCR or possibly Eyebeam.

Hi Hans,

Any ideas for putting a fire under this? Mainly I was hoping someone might have a suitable private space to host. I can provide some amenities, but my Manhattan pied-a-terre is woefully undersized for the number of people I would expect.
