[Debian-NYC] Speakers/Events for Debconf, Eben Moglen and Memefactory?

Hi folks,

So some of us were thinking that Eben would be great addition to our
line-up for Debconf. David Solomonoff has offered to extend the
invitation (he is the President of the Internet Society of NY and
arranged for his most recent talk at NYU). I thought I would throw this
out to the list because I am sure the earlier we can nab Eben, the
better, given that he is probably beyond busy.

I also wanted to suggest the idea of having Memefactory by What We Know
So Far Present at Debconf. They do an *amazing show* on Internet Memes
that will produce a steady stream of LOL and even ROFL!! for nearly the
45 minutes of their presentation. You also learn a lot about memes.

You can see a video of their show here:

But better, I think some folks might want to come to their event at NYU
on Friday Feb 19th to see whether this might be a good fit for Debconf.
This event, which I arranged, is for our undergraduates, and is not open
to the public but I can sneak a few people in. It starts at 3.

ps-- If I should just post this stuf to the local team list, let me know.
