[Debian-NYC] More workshops?
Hi,
Just because a BSP is the next thing on the calendar doesn't mean that
we can't have more workshops before then (or shouldn't think about
workshops for after).
The only reason I haven't started planning something for January (and
didn't December) is that I think it's important that other people step
up and drive some workshops. If I'm the main one declaring them, then
it's going to be hard to keep them going long-term.
It's easier to think than to do this - there's so much help and
enthusiasm. Start by making a wiki page with a topic and possible
outline, show it to others and a plan will appear pretty quickly. If
you don't want to run it yourself, talk on the list/irc and find
someone to work with, or who might want to do it.
The logistics will take care of themselves - I'll still work on
logistical stuff, since I seem to be ok at that.
So, the summary is: prod and start workshops yourself, not for you,
but for everyone.
Thanks,
- Richard
