Sounds like so to me as well, and I'm a native English speaker.

Unselected is a much better adjective than deselect tries to be. In
addition, using "deselected" may accidentally cause the user to make a
connection between deselect and dselect and end up confused if he is
reading too fast. I know that I did. :)
