Bug#218018: dpkg-deb -b doesn't strip trailing slashes
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.10.15
Severity: normal
When doing "dpkg-deb -b dirname/", autocomplete adds a / to the end of
the dirname. dpkg-deb does not strip the / from the name, and then builds a file
called ".deb" in the package directory.
