Problem Installing Debian Woody3.0 via NFS Packages.gz corrupt

Hallo zusammen,
Ich versuche Woody per NFS zu installieren weshalb ich den Inhalt aller
CDs in ein Verzeichnis kopiert habe und es als NFS-Share exportiert
habe.Wie im Internet gelesen habe ich dann auch
dpkg-scanpackages pool/main /dev/null |gzip >
dists/woody/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
für pool/main,pool/non-US/main etc... vom Hauptverzeichnis des shares
durchgeführt.
( Habe auch Optionen -c or -9c probiert und auch gzip per Hand unter
auslassung des gzip Pipes im Befehl ---> selbes Problem)
Dann habe ich von CD1 den Client gebootet und eine Installation per NFS
gestartet (nachdem ich das Netzwerk konfiguriert hatte. Ich habe es mit
und ohne DHCP probiert.)
Der Kernel wird geladen aber nach auswählen des Quellverzeichnisses
/instmnt bei der Installation des Basissystems kommt die Fehlermeldung
"/instmnt/dists/woody/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz was corrupt"
dpkg-scanpackes wurde zugegebenerweise von Suse8.2 Professional
gestartet und der share befindet sich ebenfalls auf einer Suse8.2
Professional. Ich habe aber auch eine Credativ CD als zweites OS
probiert (baut z.T. auf Knoppix auf, ist aber aus Woody gebaut) doch das
Problem ist das gleiche. Nur sind hier z.B. die angaben von md5sum und
installed size in einer anderen Reihenfolge. Bei CD1 ist die Reihenfolge
noch anders , die Infos sind aber bei allen 3 Varianten pro Paket
gleich. Ich bin mir also nicht sicher, ob es vielleicht an der
Reihenfolge der Infos liegt.
Wenn ich den NFS-Share auf den kopierten Inhalt von CD1 umbiege läuft
die Installation weiter durch weshalb ich davon ausgehe,dass es kein
Problem im Zusammenspiel mit SuSE oder NFS ist.
I beschäftige mich jetzt seit knapp zwei Tagen mit diesem Problem ,
jetzt bin ich mit meinem Latein am Ende und kann nur noch um Hilfe rufen ;-(

Hi all,
I am trying to install Woody via NFS .
I copied the content of all CDs into on directory and exported it as an
NFS-share.
As I read on the internet I did an
dpkg-scanpackages pool/main /dev/null |gzip >
dists/woody/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz
for pool/main,pool/non-US/main etc... from the main dir of the share.

Then I used the woody cd1 to boot the client and start an installation
over nfs (after having configured the network. I tried with and without
DHCP)
The Kernel is loaded but when the Base-system is installing
after I selected /instmnt where the share is mounted as installation
source I get an error message
/instmnt/dists/woody/main/binary-i386/Packages.gz was corrupt"
I tried to do the dpkg-scanpackages on a SuSE8.2 Professional (I must
admit) and the Share is also on a SuSE8.2 Professional machine.
When I compare the gunziped file to one I did with "credative Linux on
CD" (something like knoppix but build of woody only) all information
seems to be identical but the order is different (e.g. md5sum and
installed-size and vice-versa). The original CD1 has got a different
order but the same info per Package. So I am not sure if the order is
the problem.
When I change the nfs-share to the contents of CD1 which I also copied
to a separate dir (which means the content of CD1 is used) the
installation works properly.So it does not look like a Problem with SuSE
or NFS.
I spent almost two days searching groups etc. All I can do now is cry
for help ;-(
I can't see what's wrong.
Any suggestions ??
