Re: Question: Can dpkg relocate package

Oh, I got thrown off by the fact that it said that it defaults to /var/lib/dpkg. Okay that helps
a lot thanks.

Is there also a way of letting the postinst, preinst, postrm and prerm scripts of knowing
what the new install path would be? Thanks
