I've added the `-p' option to my rsync command, and it seems to have
updated the files to look like this:
drwxrwsr-x 19 iwj dpkgcvs 1024 Mar 8 12:44 dpkg-iwj
-r--r--r-- 1 iwj dpkgcvs 18610 Mar 1 18:20 dpkg-iwj/COPYING,v
drwxrwsr-x 3 iwj dpkgcvs 1024 Mar 2 15:17 dpkg-iwj/lib
(I had to add g+w to dpkg-iwj myself by hand.)
This is similar to my own repository,
drwxrwsr-x 19 ian src 1024 Mar 2 23:17 dpkg/
-r--r--r-- 1 ian src 18610 Mar 2 02:20 dpkg/COPYING,v
drwxrwsr-x 3 ian src 1024 Mar 2 23:17 dpkg/lib/
I hope this improves matters. I can check it out now (I don't know if
I could before).
Ian.
