Hi,

As part of this you may wish to consider using >> instead
of > in the script invocation. 

script -t 2>>~/upgrade-squeeze.time -a ~/upgrade-squeeze.script

instead of

script -t 2>~/upgrade-squeeze.time -a ~/upgrade-squeeze.script

Although I don't know what sort of strange replay timing
you'd then get on the command after reboot.  This does make
it convenient to re-execute the same script command and
log everything in one file.
