I'm not so sure we need something like CRMI. Ideally, sure, it would be
better to have an external (not in packages) way to store data. But the
whole Debian infrastructure is centered around packages, and maybe we
should just strive to make it easier to add information to packages,
rather than manage information elsewhere.
