Hi Javier, Do you have time to upload a doc-debian package without the FAQ content within a couple of weeks? Or would you rather have me prepare such a thing? Is it OK if I add myself to the debian-faq Uploaders, or would you rather do a FAQ upload yourself? (I plan to upload it regardless wether there will be translation updates; once an update occurs, it's cheap to do another upload.) > > The "doc-debian" package will contain just > > The doc-debian package should Recommends: (Depend?) on debian-faq then Yes, Recommends sounds good. <snip> > > I believe the translations which have seen some work recently should get > > installed by the debian-faq package; I'll fix that. The new debian-faq sourcepackage, as in SVN now, builds the new binary packages: debian-faq_3.1.6_all.deb debian-faq-de_3.1.6_all.deb debian-faq-fr_3.1.6_all.deb debian-faq-it_3.1.6_all.deb debian-faq-zh_3.1.6_all.deb These hold the translations which were not hopelessly out of date. If someone updates another translation, it's easy to convince the source package to build another binary package. (I assume the packages doc-debian-uk doc-debian-es will keep shipping their FAQ translations for the time being.) debian-doc-ers: Thanks for all feedback! Bye, Joost
