Package name: release-notes Maintainer: Debian Documentation Team <debian-doc@lists.debian.org> Rationale: It is currently very hard to track problems or suggestions for the release notes. Or to reassign problems identified in other "packages" (like upgrade-reports) to the release notes if they need to be documented there. Issues are currently either sent to the d-doc list where they run a bigger risk of being forgotten, or assigned to "general" from which they can not be reassigned. It would also be nice as a place to receive translation updates. Most other documents maintained as part of DDP have proper packages against which problems can be reported; the release notes currently do not (and given the fact that they will probably need to be finalized during a release deep freeze it is unlikely that a real package is useful).
