Yes, that is correct: only Potato users that are using the dhcp-client
package instead of the default pump (if pump is the default, which I
believe it is but don't know for sure) are affected. The problem is that
users might end up with a machine that can't get an IP address after
a reboot, and this can be pretty bad if the machine is being accessed
remotely and there is no easy access to the console.
A note in the Release Notes would warn the user that he needs to configure
the interface as "dhcp" in /etc/network/interfaces before a reboot,
or else he/she will be in trouble.
