I suggest docbook. See the package the the docbook-stylesheets
packages. Docbook has excellent table support, graphics support, and
furthermore is an industry standard of sorts.
You probably shouldn't be using debiandoc's DTD unless you're
specifically writing Debian documentation, IMHO.
