Thank you Isabelle for your report!  If I read correctly what I
believe is your forum post [1], then it seems you have managed
to get your machine working appropriately on Ubuntu 21.10,
possibly using a Linux kernel addressing the Ubuntu issue
#1939297 [2].  Per chance, in case you wish to retry Debian 11,
does the backport of Linux image 5.14, or later, show the same
symptoms?

The seemingly related Archlinux bug #70135 [3] points to a bunch
of Linux 5.12~rc5 commits which haven't made it to an LTS kernel
yet [4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10] and a patch summarizing application
against the then stable kernel Linux 5.11.1 [11].
