Imath also includes optional Python bindings for all types and functions, including optimized implementations of vector and matrix arrays. This library is the successor of IlmBase (almost EOL) and it's mandatory for updating OpenEXR to newer versions. I'll maintain this package under the Debian Phototools Team umbrella. -- Matteo F.
