Bug#932472: ITP: node-ulid -- universally-unique, lexicographically-sortable, identifier generator

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Enkelena Haxhiu <enkelena@mylenovo1.example.org>

* Package name    : node-ulid
  Version         : 2.3.0
  Upstream Author : Alizain Feerasta <alizain.feerasta@gmail.com>
* URL             : https://github.com/ulid/javascript.git

  Programming Lang: Nodejs
  Description     : universally-unique, lexicographically-sortable, identifier generator

ULID is a UUID generator with these features:

  - 128-bit compatibility with UUID
  - 1.21e+24 unique ULIDs per millisecond
  - Lexicographically sortable!
  - Canonically encoded as a 26 character string,
    as opposed to the 36 character UUID
  - Uses Crockford's base32 for better efficiency
    and readability (5 bits per character)
  - Case insensitive
  - No special characters (URL safe)
  - Monotonic sort order
    (correctly detects and
    handles the same millisecond)

This package is needed for solid-server. It will be maintained in the
javascript team together with Jonas.
