I can see it being useful, to you, for your script to be packaged in Debian.
What I can't see is it being useful for Debian.

But we have this kind of discussion quite often over the years on -devel.
Rather than picking on this particular package, perhaps we need to discuss the
notion of splitting the archive kind of like how Ubuntu do (main/universe etc.)
I'd care a lot less about something like this in the equivalent of universe for
Debian than main.
