Which doesn't mean that Debian needs to or automatically should do the
same...

After all, we're Debian, neither RHEL, nor Fedora.

Well as said before, I still experience at least these and some other
quite annoying issues.
Some were however fixed, IIRC one can e.g. stop it now and it actually
stays stopped and isn't auto-re-spawned few minutes afterwards.

Sure, but I guess one shouldn't rush into that.
