For reference, it seems like we will be picking the ".deb" route.  So
even these (minor) issues are unlikely to be a problem.

It is my general understanding that most people would (strongly?) prefer
that ddebs were placed in a separate component.  I would be surprised if
we did ended up including them in the current components.
