Subject: general: Thinkpad will not wake since Debian 7.8 upgrade, must hard boot computer.

Dear Maintainer,

     What led up to the situation? I upgraded to Deb 7.8 during normal update
     What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)? Have to reboot to use computer.
