It's my understanding, please correct me if wrong, that LVM thin provisioning is disabled in Wheezy due to lack of availability of user tools (at the time). I've reconfigured the kernel to include thin provisioning target support but when creating a thin pool I get: "WARNING: Unrecognized segment type thin...".
