I'm sorry but I agree with David's closure of this bug (thanks, David for cleaning out debian-i18n bug log.....it's cool now to have you on holidays for two months... ;-) This bug report is too vague to be investigated and assigning it to "general" is the best way to dig it into dust, just as closing is. Such "bugs" are beeter being investigated with the help of people with the appropriate knowledge, in such case Persian language users. It is indeed quite likely here that gnome-terminal is just using a wrong font, namely one with Persian characters.
