Bug#691190: ITP: python-errorhandler -- Python log handler tracking logging of messages above a certain level

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Jan Dittberner <jandd@debian.org>

* Package name    : python-errorhandler
  Version         : 1.1.1
  Upstream Author : Chris Withers <chris@simplistix.co.uk>
* URL             : http://pypi.python.org/pypi/errorhandler
* License         : MIT
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Python log handler tracking logging of messages above a certain level

This is a handler for the Python standard logging framework that can be used
to tell whether messages have been logged at or above a certain level.

This can be useful when wanting to ensure that no errors have been logged
before committing data back to a database.

I intend to package this software as example how to do Python packaging
during PyCon DE 2012. This software depends on python-pkginfo (See [1]) and
is required for xlutils [2].
