This package provides a Python interface to the Musicbrainz NGS API.

Musicbrainz is an open music encyclopedia that collects music metadata
and makes it available to the public. 

This package is a dependency of beets, and it was planned to drop the
embedded copy as soon as upstream released the first version.

I plan to maintain it inside the Debian Python Modules Team.
