This is not always liked by the upstream communities though. For
example, the exim communities hates us for integrating exim with
debconf, and they don't even think a second whenever a Debian user
shows up on their mailing lists and direct them directly to us for
user support - even if it's a valid question that the community could
easily answer. We even take care to make our config as similiar as
possible to upstreams (we even follow changes in the _comments_ of
their example config), but to no avail.
