Actually, I don't see any serious show stopper in starting to thinking
about removing it in this thread. The most important one is the
compatibility with Firefox 3.5, but I hardly imagine it not arriving
anytime soon.

Still, you failed to reply to my proposal for smooth migration, which
seems to me a showstopper. What's your take on having openjdk providing
the needed transition binaries to have users move away from sun-java
upon upgrades?
