The outcome of the SFLC investigation was that Joerg was asked to
include an explicit statement in libscg that linking it in mkisofs is
allowed. The ubuntu technical board has asked him to do so but Joerg
refused because he does not see a necessity to do so. Moreover, he
claimed that big "harm" would be done to unrelated projects because of
that, without further clarifying what he is actually referencing here.

However, he was also told that as soon as he reconsiders this position,
the technical board would continue to investigate the integration of
cdrtools in ubuntu, as there are no further known concerns about the
cdrtools licensing.

yes, that would be ideal, but Joerg refuses to make this step.
