FWIW glib and GTK+, the whole GNOME stack, and more, are using
gtk-doc to document their API, you will find the generated
documentation in HTML form in libglib2.0-doc.
And there is http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=467488 where
the generation of manpages is discussed.
