They're currently handled manually, almost exclusively by Blars Blarson.
I assume more help would be welcome, but there's currently no
infrastructure in place to allow for individuals who aren't in the
debbugs group to hide those messages. [That said, I do have a
long-term plan to adjust the way we deal with spam so those messages
are just hidden, not deleted as currently... but that's a bit of a
ways off.]
