However, it seems like postinst.d/ and prerm.d/ are supported. This is what I
had this morning:

Configuring linux-image-2.6.26-1-686 (2.6.26-5) ...
Running depmod.
Running mkinitramfs-kpkg.
Not updating initrd symbolic links since we are being updated/reinstalled 
(2.6.26-4 was configured last, according to dpkg)
Not updating image symbolic links since we are being updated/reinstalled 
(2.6.26-4 was configured last, according to dpkg)
Running postinst hook script update-grub.
Updating /boot/grub/grub.cfg ...
Found Debian background: debian-blueish-wallpaper-640x480.png
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.26-1-686
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.26-1-686
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.23-1-686
Found initrd image: /boot/initrd.img-2.6.23-1-686
done
Examining /etc/kernel/postinst.d.
run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/postinst.d/dkms

So, DKMS is being run after the installation of a kernel. Am I right?

Btw, is all this documented anywhere?
