package: unknown

I don't know where this belongs, but quite often when I upgrade my system, it
changes all the screen fonts and GUI settings for a range of different
programs. This isn't fatal, but it's certainly annoying. E.g. having just run
an upgrade from unstable, Pan now has almost unreadably small fonts, and all
the KDE apps are using a different theme, neither of which I've asked for.

So just a general request that package maintainers could try and make sure
that the updates they make don't change things like this unless there's a
good reason.

cheers,

andy baxter.

Hi,

closing, because, quoting the bug:

"So just a general request that package maintainers could try and make sure
that the updates they make don't change things like this unless there's a
good reason."

We try that :-)

regards,
	Holger
