I whole heartedly agree with your proposal.

As sune suggested, 1 and 2 months would be enough imo.

Additionaly maybe extending the wnpp packages report with packages that
are going to be removed would give interested people a last chance to
pick such a package up.


Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the
universe are pointed away from Earth?
