Not in Debian – /bin/sh scripts must be POSIX compliant and not use
extensions, and with my experience from mksh (minus the “stop” alias
issue, which, with mksh R30, became a non-issue), and seeing how many
people use dash, there are no /bin/sh scripts that assume bash any more.
I believe no one can invent an algorithm. One just happens to hit upon it
when God enlightens him. Or only God invents algorithms, we merely copy them.
