Thank you Magnus for this quick reply.

Just one point: I have read the paragraph about cooperating groups of
packages too, and I did not figure exactly what to do.

As we are to make a virtual package named wims-something, there is little
chance that we are going to annoy other people, since nobody will choose
the prefix "wims" for her packages in a near future unless they are
related  to the wims project hosted at wims.unice.fr currently. So there
is little foreseeable side-effect.

Does it mean that in such a case, creating the virtual package and
dropping one notice would be enough? If so, just don't reply, or agree,
and we proceed.
