These include quite a few fixes: * symbol versioning is back * these actually install without wanting to remove apt (yay!) * provide dummy packages with the old names to provide upgrade path Unfortunately, LDAP support is still disabled, but we are working on that issue. If you are able, please test these packages, especially if you maintain a package which builds against cyrus-sasl. I am currently building everything that depends on any of the cyrus-sasl packages and will post another updated with the results as soon as I am able (no premature RC bug filing this time).
