Discussing or working for Etch?

Sorry Gustavo, but I think you're missing the end of dilinger's initial post:

This is not meant to be a flamewar about whether expulsing anyone is 
working for Etch or not, but a discussion about Sven's contribution to 
the Project.

But it is funny that you place dilinger's proposition in the perspective 
of releasing Etch. It happens that both of our RMs are involved in the 
technical commitee, and bringing the dispute involving Sven to the ctte 
certainly takes a bunch of their time. Also, as already mentionned, Sven 
requested Andreas Barth to personally mediate the issue. Whether or not 
Sven is responsible for leading this dispute to the ctte, letting our 
RMs spend their time on such issues is not going to help releasing Etch 
much.
Of course, opening this thread will also take a lot of time from DDs, 
this time not just from the kernel team, the RMs and the technical 
committee, but it remains to be seen what outcome this thread will have.
