Hi,
would it be worthwhile to compare a new ITP with the currently pending
ITP's to see if this is a duplicate and if so, tell the originator that
s/he is attempting to ITP a package that someone else is already intending to
ITP.

ps. it seems an ITP sometimes has the 'default' info, (ie. x.y.z). Is this
not checked and then have the originator's email rejected or have an
email note that this should be resent with fields corrected.
