Where I am very surprised that nobody of the very vocal and oh-so-bored
maintainers who have nothing else to than waiting for their NEW packages has
started an effort to the latter effect: Collecting tidbits of information
concerning the various packages rotting in NEW and making that information
public.

Without public information, there is no discussion.

Without discussing those things (especially those ftp-masters have generally
express their distrust by ignoring them) nothing will happen.
