Nothing wrong with asking for some help with > the package though, I guess. The fact that he is also the upstream makes things even worse, cause it seems that package/program is outdated/not-maintained everywhere. I just wanted to say that we have many tags for bugs. Honestly, if I would filled some bug and haven't seen *any* response from the maintainer for two years, I wouldn't fill *any* further bugs. May I ask Thomas what's the problem to simply add tag "confirmed" to the mentioned bugs? Or if he thought that bugs were not complete, he could add "moreinfo" tag. If he thought that bugs were simply stupid he could add tag "wontfix". Hey... social contract says that users are important for us. If maintainer doesn't respond for a bug for over two years he says that he ignores our users. That's something which is unacceptable for me. Sure we can charge Wolfgang for not go by our policy, but charging Wolfgang doesn't make Thomas not guilty. Sorry if I wrote something which is hard to understand, but English isn't my native language. regards fEnIo -- _ Bartosz Fenski | mailto:fenio@o2.pl | pgp:0x13fefc40 | IRC:fEnIo _|_|_ 32-050 Skawina - Glowackiego 3/15 - w. malopolskie - Polska (0 0) phone:+48602383548 | Slackware - the weakest link ooO--(_)--Ooo http://skawina.eu.org | JID:fenio@jabber.org | RLU:172001
