Profiles may sometimes break because of extensions that have been installed to the profile otherwise it should be fine.
The change also effects people if they change to the upstream release because of nightlies, a newer milestone, or they just want the official graphics (Also the official icons are TM’ed so you will need to get clearance from ben if you wish to use them).
