Not necessary. If the common kernel would not suit best for the debian it
would always be possible to have the kernel-xyz-lcc packages (with the
warning in the others that they do not fit LCC standard). So it will be
up to the user to decide what he wants.
And I will always build my very custom kernel anyway ;)
