My apologies. I had been in contact with upstream and they told me the 
bug was fixed.

I am preparing a -2 release that fixes the bug reported here:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=284172

I'll post the .diff as soon as possible.
