When I try to install file-rc, sysv-rc has to go. So far, so good. However, APT complains and asks me to type something like "I am absolutely sure I want to do this". Well, I agree that sysv-rc should not be deinstallable just like that, but file-rc replaces it just fine. Thus, I should be able to install it and *not* require to confirm at length the removal of a conflicting package. Or am I missing something? -- Please do not CC me when replying to lists; I read them! .''`. martin f. krafft <madduck@debian.org> : :' : proud Debian developer, admin, and user `. `'` `- Debian - when you have better things to do than fixing a system Invalid/expired PGP subkeys?
