I used dselect [ -1 ] weeks ago.  
(-1 means it was so long ago that I don't remember or never did).

dselect has made too many mistakes on me. Perhaps if I did not mix and
match using dselect with apt-get, it would have worked out alright, but
go behind dselect's back and it gets very unhappy. aptitude suffers
similarly. I stick primarily with apt-get.

I used to like synaptic, until the WiNGs interface was forgotten.
