I expected that it would happen sooner or later; I didn't expect that
Anthony would treat it as a top-priority issue for the release.  But I
certainly did expect the same ultimate result.  Any surprise was about
timing and scheduling, not about the actual result to be achieved or
the way it would be achieved.
