 KIPI plugins (KDE Image Plugin Interface) can be used by any
 application that implements the KIPI host interface, like e.g.,
 recent versions of digikam, gwenview, kimdaba, showimg.

Status:

Soon upstream plans a kipi-plugins 0.1 release. Then I'll go for
a RFS.  Until then cvs snapshot packages and source can be found at:
