It is on my todo list to fix this. I have an Indy that is currently refusing 
to install sarge (disk broken I suspect), but I will try and get to it as 
soon as I can.

clisp without mips FFI is IMO better than a clisp 5 years old, which was the 
alternative, unfortunately the fixes to this aren't very simple and the 
upstream do not have mips hardware.
