My father is using Notepad on a day-to-day basic to edit music.
I have fixed it's lilypond export module a few days ago.
(But didn't have time to submit the patches yet.)
Don't kill it now...
...yes, it's buggy, but I'm sure there are people out there
(like me) who can fix them...
(But I can't afford to take upstream maintainership.)

Is someone in contact with the upstream author?
Someone should ask him to upload it to savannah...
